April 28 2008

April 28th 2008,

Lower Niagara River is now 44 degrees. Steelhead have pushed into the glen and some have started spawning.

All fish taken today Float Fishing From the boat. Roe Bags under the float seemed to be the go to bait.

Rain was heavy in the morning, but gave us a break by mid-day. Soaked but content because the fishing was steady. Some smoking runs from the fish once hooked!

A good mix of fresh silvers in the bunch! This was the biggest fish landed today!

See you on the River,
